Rosneft boosts H1 liquid hydrocarbon output 12% to 4.59 mln bbl

MOSCOW, Aug 4 (PRIME) -- Russian oil major Rosneft increased hydrocarbon production 10.2% to 5.74 million barrels of oil equivalent daily with liquid hydrocarbons output rising 12% to 4.59 million barrel in January-June despite participation in an OPEC+ oil output cut agreement, it said in a statement on Friday.

“H1 2017 average daily hydrocarbon output amounted to 5.74 mmboed (140.3 mmtoe), rising by 10.2% y/y on the back of the acquisitions and new projects development,” the statement read.

Gas output rose 2.9% on the year to 34.2 billion cubic meters in the period.

“The growth is driven by putting two wells in operation at the Northern tip of Chayvo field on Sakhalin Island in 2016, reaching the design capacity at Rospan Novo-Urengoy gas and condensate treatment plant in August 2016, successful launching three new wells at the Tyumen suite of Yem-Yegovskoye field in Q1 2017, as well as growing gas deliveries from Van-Yeganskoye field after revamping the Tyumen compressor station and a gas production increase at the Severo-Varyeganskoye field on the back of commissioning new wells,” Rosneft said.

The company raised production drilling 22% on the year to 5.483 million meters and wells commissioning 15% on the year to 1,400 wells in the period.
